We had a wonderful stay at Soulton Hall. the bed was incredibly comfortable, with beautiful linen and comfy pillows. the evening meals were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and presented with care. We especially enjoyed the English white wine from their good wine list. the staff were friendly and the owners were informative and interesting about the historic property. We opted for the cedar family suite, which provided us with a self-contained unit with two bedrooms and a good shower. It was the perfect accommodation for our needs, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I would highly recommend Soulton Hall, especially for families or friends who enjoy walking and cycling in the area. Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. 😊.

The food was well prepared and delicious, offering a variety of options. The location was quiet and secluded, providing a tranquil escape from the busyness of Easter.- The owners were friendly and engaging, providing stimulating conversation and making us feel welcome.
The rooms were outdated and in need of sprucing up, with cracked window paint and basic amenities. The sitting room did not match the glamorized photos on the website.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guest house located in a tranquil countryside setting. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately put us at ease, and the attentive staff made us feel right at home. The historic building exuded character and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Our dietary requirements were graciously accommodated, showcasing the chef's expertise. The spacious and comfortably furnished rooms provided a relaxing retreat after a busy day exploring the area. We were even treated to a guided tour of the fascinating "barrow" being constructed on the adjacent farmland. The combination of the rich history, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service made our stay truly memorable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we highly recommend this guest house for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable getaway experience. we would definitely visit again.

Great service from kind and attentive staff. . "Olde world charm" and a unique place to stay. Convenient location with short driving distance to attractions. Tranquil and secluded atmosphere. Immaculate grounds and pleasant walks.
Outdated decor and old-fashioned amenities. . Filthy conditions with cobwebs, dust, and dirt.

The hotel had a charming rural setting with friendly and attentive staff. The historic building and working farm added to the experience. The cleanliness and warmth of the room were appreciated, and the food was good.
The hotel needed some maintenance and updating. The lack of nearby dining options and the presence of a dog in the lounge may not suit everyone.

The location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing Christmas getaway. It was nestled in a quiet countryside area, which provided a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The hotel also had a warm and welcoming ambience, with comfortable chairs and sofas to lounge in front of the fire. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free.
One aspect that could be a downside for some is that the hotel may feel quite isolated, as it is likely that there won't be many other guests around. This could either be seen as a positive, offering a more intimate and personal experience, or a negative, depending on individual preferences.

The hotel is set in a beautiful countryside location, surrounded by fields and meadows. Guests can enjoy peaceful views from the rooms, such as the carriage house with its great view over the fields. The friendly and helpful owners provide personal touches, like a jug of fresh milk upon arrival and tasty sandwiches on request. The breakfast offers a good choice and is served in a pleasant room.
